I live in Indiana, USA (what up, Midwest!?), far from the Canadian border; and I have a weird sense of humor. Well, some people call it weird, I call it funny. Sometimes a bit...wicked. Don’t believe me? Check out these stories in this list.
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
When I was a little girl, I wanted 3 things: 1️⃣ To be a mom 2️⃣ Be a teacher; and 3️⃣ To write a Children’s Book series
I have accomplished the mom part, and for the record, I changed my mind about teaching after working at a daycare for 2 years.
I’ve been in real estate for several years but in December 2021 chose to pause that and live out my dream of writing. I have no expectations of “making it big.” But I have no doubt that I made the right choice.

Here’s something not many know: I am an editor on many publications too.
After writing on Medium for a while, I became an editor with the Are You Out There (AYOT) publication. We’ve not looked back. AYOT has grown, to even include one publication I started in which I am Managing Editor now.

However, I am a mom to a family of 1 college-aged, 1 middle school, and 2 high school children. I do have to reserve some time for them.
