Just another asshole who left Medium and came back eight months later.
It’s a good day to suck a dick.
If that’s your thing.
It’s also a good day to get on Medium for the first time in I don’t know how long.
I’ve been God damn overwhelmed for months. Trying to write a book that fell flat on its sad fucking face, and then trying again and again and again, ya get the point. I have a friend–don’t ask who, you nosy fucks– who is kind enough to help my sorry ass get it together. I’ll let you all know when I actually have something real in the works.
But realizing you aren’t as stellar as you thought you were, is a real blow to your confidence. If you’ve been there, you know what I’m talking about.
Anyway, I’m gonna keep working on that but I miss my medium friends. And I miss writing short stories. That shit is so much easier.
You might be wondering, what else did GC do all summer besides fail at life? I went to Mexico, which was badass. I took up golf because my kids, my husband, and my brothers all play. I’d like to take a shot at my sister with one of those clubs once I get a good, strong swing. I’ll keep you posted on that.
